The proposal received planning approval from South Oxfordshire District Council on 29 January 2014.  See our Planning page for more.

This website is designed to give local residents and other interested parties information on the proposal to build an anaerobic digestion facility on a site at Icknield Farm, near Ipsden, in South Oxfordshire.  The facility will use a combination of pig slurry and energy crop to generate sufficient renewable gas for the whole of Goring and South Stoke

The project is being developed in conjunction with Scotia Gas Networks, our local gas transmission business, who are pioneers in developing renewable gas to reduce our reliance both on fossil fuels and on overseas imports of gas.
